November 11th, 2022 is one wedding I will never forget. 

The couple had chosen the Appel Inn in Altamont, NY as the location for their special day and the forecast had called for a beautiful sunny day. But as the day progressed, the weather took a turn for the worse and a light rain began to fall just as the ceremony was about to begin.

Despite the sudden change in weather, the couple remained optimistic and decided to move the ceremony indoors. I was able to capture some stunning shots of the couple exchanging their vows in the warm and intimate setting surrounded by their closest and dearest family & friends. The rain added a unique and romantic element to the photos, and the couple looked absolutely radiant as they became husband and wife.

As the ceremony came to a close and the guests moved to the bar area, I took the opportunity to capture some dramatic shots of the couple in the rain. We used umbrellas to create a unique and romantic shot, and the raindrops on the couple's faces added an extra element of emotion.

The reception is a lively and joyous celebration, with delicious food and drinks, speeches, and dancing. The couple share their first dance as husband and wife, surrounded by their loved ones. The guests take turns congratulating the newlyweds and wishing them a lifetime of happiness.

The rain may have changed the plans, but it couldn't dampen the love and joy of the couple and their guests on their wedding day.
But, as they say, "Rain on your wedding day is good luck," and the couple didn't let the weather dampen their spirits. They were determined to make the most of their special day, and I was determined to capture it all.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hartman, may your love continue to grow stronger with each passing day.
