Mr. & Mrs. Halme
Jared & Valerie met through her cousin Jenny & our sister-in-law Heidi who introduced them 4 years ago. Valerie remembers meeting for dinner & drinks at Peddler's & thinking right away he is THE one.
Over the last 4 years Valerie & Jared have welcomed 2 cats named Jet & Whisker and a dog named Skye. They have also brought into this wonderful family and beautiful 2 & a half year old daughter named Ivy.
Jared & Valerie enjoy watching their daughter grow, binge watching shows, hanging out with friends & of course making each other laugh!
The Engagement!
Valerie & Jared got engaged on Father's Day 2022 at Jared’s mom's house. "He told me he had to work in the morning. Come to find out that’s the day he went to my parents & asked their approval to marry me. He brought out a bouquet of flowers & handed me a card. Inside the card he had typed out what he wanted to say but knew he wouldn’t have been able to without getting emotional. I said YES OF COURSE!"
The Wedding Day!
Mr. & Mrs. Halme were married surrounded by their closest family and friends on June 8th 2024, at The Glen Sanders Mansion in Schenectady NY. They spent the first part of their day with their bridal party sharing laughs and stories as they got ready in the Bridal & Grooms room.
The couple had a beautiful first look while their family and friends got to share a quick glimpse into this moment.
On June 8th 2024 at 4:30pm in front of their closest family and friends Jared & Valerie took hands, shared their vows, exchanged rings and pledged their love to one another. The new Mr. & Mrs. Halme then shared a special moment together celebrating with their bridal party while their guest enjoyed a snack and getting comfy inside the venue.
Mr. & Mrs. Halme Celebrated and danced the night away with their closet family and friends, leaving an unforgettable evening!
